Welcome to St. John Presbyterian Church.
Who are we? We are a people who are linked to our past but looking to the future. As we worship in a historic church building, we feel the prayers and hear the voices of praise from long ago, as we join our hearts and voices with the communion of saints, as we listen for who God is calling us to be, and to whom.
What are we? We are a church. With a sense of service to our neighborhood, especially through our Wednesday Night Live program, we don't just believe that we go to church, we try to be a church in and for our community, offering our lives and opening our doors to those around us.
What do we believe? It's all about God. It's all about Grace. Some may argue that there's more to it than that, but we believe that God is the everything that's happening in our lives. And though we may fall short in our lives and as a church of being perfect, by God's Grace through Jesus Christ we try as best we can to be the best possible version of ourselves, and as a church, that we can possibly be.
What do we do? We pray together. We laugh together. We work together. We encourage each other. We love each other. And we serve together, making Christ's love known to those around us through our fellowship, through our words, and especially through our actions.
